About the project
As a castle that dates back to around the 11th century, Edinburgh Castle has been occupied since at least the Iron Age. It is an historic building that is one of the most exciting historic sites in Western Europe, and one that is now occupied with hundreds of visitors a day. MICC is a must have at sites like this, as critical systems such as emergency lighting and speakers need to stay running in the event of a fire.
MICC will allow these critical systems to perform during emergencies, ensuring the safety of the public and the building itself.
