Sidra Medical Centre

About the project

Sidra Medicine is a 400-bed women’s and children’s hospital, medical education and biomedical research centre in Doha, Qatar, and serves more than 275,000 patients per year. As with every medical facility, the installation of fire survival cables is vital due to evacuation times needing to be extended for people in beds and wheelchairs etc, and due to the amount of public and vulnerable patients in situ.

MICC has been installed in this environment to aid the safety of the building and to provide the many critical systems with the chance to continuously operate during any unlikely disaster.
